2009 AWCA East Coast Training Camp
October 16 - 18, Greensboro, North Carolina

The 2009 AWCA East Coast Training Camp was held on October 16, 17 and 18 in Greensboro, North Carolina, at the school of Monty Hendrix, Essential Martial Arts. Monty has graciously allowed the hosting of our annual east coast seminar at his school beginning this year, so this year we kicked off the east coast opening by going over the Siu-Nim-Tau, Chum-Kiu, and first four sections of Chi-sau.

The 3-day training camp was met with a lot of determination and passion by all members, and everyone walked away with a lot of new material to work on (as well as a more in-depth concept of current curriculums). With members attending from all over the United States and the United Kingdom, this particular camp was especially important since it was the inaugural annual East Coast event we will now be conducting.

A more in-depth coverage of the event will be posted shortly, including a few video clips. However, I wanted to get it available as soon as possible so that folks could see just a bit of the great time we had. Hopefully for future events, more AWCA members will be able to join us!
